Assessment Increases Unfair

This system of assessing homeowners with huge increases without any explanation is unfair and costly to the homeowner. The homeowner is then the one who has to defend themselves in an unfair practice by the State/City.

You have to get an attorney to appear for a hearing/super spreader because of the volume of grievances with them. The City schedules for you and in front of someone on their side to only waste your time and money because you can’t fight the government. The assessor doesn’t explain why there is such an excessive increase. They don’t have to explain anything. You are the one burdened with finding evidence or an attorney to help.

We homeowners already pay excessive rates, and now they want to increase not a little at a time but all at once to raise your escrow $700 or more, and then raise the tax rate. The Mayor is of no use. His office will direct you to the form for the hearing that you haven’t got a chance of winning!

TSA at FAY do Inappropriate Touching!

Watch out at FAY, TSA will scan you and get a hit on NOTHING in your private area, and then give you the choice of being groped in public, or groped behind a screen. They will leave your belongings sitting out for everyone and anyone to touch and see, except you!

I have travelled through many different larger airports, and TSA Security has never been an issue for me. I know the drill and what to do, but nothing could have prepared me for what TSA did to me at FAY on a return First Class Card Member Holder American Airlines flight, home from a Christmas vacation.

Having no trouble getting through TSA Security wearing almost the exact same outfit when leaving Hancock International Airport as I had on when entering this SMALL North Carolina airport, I did not know what was about to happen. TSA said the scanner hit on my neck and groin, and told me I had no choice but to either be groped in public or groped behind a curtain. All the travelling I have done, I had no idea what they were about to do to me.

TSA refused to let me collect my expensive items on the conveyor belt! I had a Prada purse with cash and credit cards in it, an Ipad, Ugg boots, and an onboard bag full of Christmas gifts. I did not look or act like someone who was concealing anything in my crotch and ass. I was wearing leggings and a tight sweatshirt, my clothes were form-fitting, and you could clearly see I was not packing explosives!

When I insisted I wasn’t leaving my expensive items on the conveyor belt unattended by me, one of the agents did finally collect them. I asked several times why they expected me to leave, my valuable things anywhere, where I could not see them.

TSA then proceeded to violate me, they touched my private parts including rubbing up and down my ass, my legs, my arms, and my crotch, never even checking my neck where they also claimed the scanner hit on. Then they tested my hands for explosives with this card they had, without any explanation as to what they were doing to me, I had to ask.

I have never been treated like this at any Airport EVER! There was no way I was concealing anything and didn’t even get an apology when they found NOTHING but my body parts. Matter of fact I was so upset I let TSA know that this was ridiculous, and the only thing on my ass was my ass which made this pat-down totally uncalled for. They had no sympathy and just asked me to spread my legs further.

If someone on the street or in Walmart had violated me like TSA did, they would be arrested for sexual assault. Apparently, the scanning of passengers is not accurate at this Airport. Maybe they should get some hand scanners and stop molesting American Airlines passengers at FAY Airport, as the only thing I had on me was my clothes and expensive items that were scanned without any issues.

When I complained to TSA, they sent me an email from a  no-reply-to email address saying this type of pat-down is a routine procedure. When I complained to the Airport Director Bradley Whited, he responded: “Since the TSA is a Federal Agency, the Airport Management can not influence TSA procedures”. When I complained to American Airlines, they replied from a  no-reply-to email address also saying pretty much the same thing. So basically, TSA can do whatever they want to you at the FAY Airport without any consequences.

High Sierra the Backpack Ripoff

Whatever you do keep moving when it comes to this site! High Sierra is the worst of the worst when it comes to customer service. They don’t respond by email except the generic response will be in touch.

If High Sierra makes a mistake and sends you the wrong item their policy is we don’t care!

If you want the right item you have to PAY FOR IT AGAIN well the wrong item gets returned for a refund. I don’t know about you but I’m not about to pay for the right item twice. Their mistake but to return their mistake you have to get through to someone first (took me 48 hours) and then wait for three days for APPROVAL for a return label and then return their mistake and wait for processing then wait for the right item to ship if it ever does.

Customer service is about admitting mistakes apologizing and getting the customer the right item right away. This company claims it’s their policy they make a mistake and you the customer has to fix it! Great Policy, please think twice when it comes to shopping at High Sierra.

Walmart not accepting coupons anymore!

Surprise surprise Walmart is no longer abiding by their own coupon policy and has now made their own rules when it comes to your printed coupons from coupons.com which have their own security for printing manufacturer coupons, Walmart has decided to no longer accept them at all!

When I contacted my local Walmart manager I was told they no longer accept printed coupons but she wouldn’t give me a straight answer about the new policy at the location, which is not stated in their coupon policy anywhere she sounded ghetto and kept insisting that she wasn’t there so she don’t know why they confiscated them instead of accepting them.

Well I do Walmart has decided not to take legit coupons anymore! My coupons were not copied, had a clear expiration date, barcode and manufacturer information and instead of scanning them for my order I had to pay full price and they confiscated the coupons like they were illegal material!

This company is making it harder and harder for customers to use coupons at their locations, those same coupons would have been accepted by any grocery store so why won’t Walmart‘s SUPER CENTER accept them and why is this not mentioned in their coupon policy?

It’s all got to do with money apparently they are worried about getting their $3.00 back from the manufacturer. Walmart will not be my go to store anymore if they can’t follow their own coupon policy and have now decided to treat coupon users like criminals it’s time to shop elsewhere!

Walmart.com Online Price Gouging

We were all happy when Walmart lowered it’s free shipping option amount from $50 to $35, and started providing 2-day shipping instead of their slow Post Office option. However suddenly everything is now listed with an In-Store price and a 2-day Shipping price.

What difference does it make if we purchase in-store or online price should be the same, and the 2 day shipping isn’t free if we are being price gouged for it. Walmart has not just added a few cents to items, something that is .48 cents In-Store is a $1.48 for the 2-Day Shipping option.

Sorry Walmart but it looks like you are charging us for that free 2-day shipping you offer.

From now on Walmart will NOT be our first option, the place that provides the cheapest price is where we will shop, and it looks like that won’t be Walmart!

We contacted Walmart ‘s CEO Doug McMillon about this and the response received from his team was ridiculous. They told us to shop at the store or pick up at the store, which basically means the extra charge is due to the 2-day shipping they claim is free!

The reason most people shop online is because they don’t want to go to the store, and some of us hate going to our local Walmart, because it takes just as long to pick up an order as it does to just go there and do the shopping yourself.

Animal Hospital Overcharge

It’s sad that when it comes to our precious pets needing emergency care or surgery, we are at the mercy of the Animal Hospital prices! It costs more for care for our pets then it should at these facilities.

1. The medication mark up is ridiculous, a medication costing $8 at PetSmart, cost $30 at the Animal Hospital, and you know they purchase it at cost, so why does cost to you so much more? They will also provide and charge you for more medication than your pet may need on some scripts.

2. They always recommend an over night stay for pain management, this cost is around $1,000, or more at most pet hospitals. I declined this service and took my animal home, and was frustrated when I realized I only had to give him his medication once at 6 am to save myself $1,000 for an over night visit.

3. The price for the cage they are kept in is 100 times the cost of the cage and most times they are only in it a few hours at best.

4. They estimate your bill and charge you 75% and then do as little as possible but charge as much as possible, so you still have a balance of 25% or more when you return to pick up your pet.

5. The emergency Veterinarian will give you an estimate on the care required for your pet, but will recommend your own vet does the procedure because the hospital surgeon is expensive, knowing full well most vets aren’t surgeons!

6. The surgeon will then have a different opinion for care and price, and when you question why two different opinions, the Surgeon will tell he is the Surgeon and the other is just an emergency vet!

Most of these Animal Hospitals provide wonderful care. The problem here is the price for that care.

All these things add up to lots of money for pet care, and the reason people have a hard time getting their pet the care and treatment they require. We all love our pets, but who has $1,000’s of dollars to keep them around when they require some sort of care or surgery from an Animal Hospital.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amazon PrimePantry Review

Recently signed up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, and although I received free two-day shipping on my order, I still would have received the free shipping with my $25 purchase I just might have had to wait a little longer for delivery.

So I thought “wow” I can get free 2-day shipping on everything Prime I just might keep it once the trial expires, WRONG! Amazon now has this PrimePantry category for all the grocery type items that they sold separately previously before this PrimePantry category was implemented.

So this is what you see when you select PrimePantry, so one would assume any 5 items in the associated categories under PrimePantry you would receive free 2-day shipping as a Prime member, WRONG!

You have to select 5 certain items and fill the box before they ship, so it’s probably just the 5 in the picture that falls under the free shipping guidelines for PrimePantry , so why pay for 5 items that you really don’t want or need just to get free shipping. PrimePantry is just another way to make Prime members pay for shipping!

For $99 – $131.88 a year for a membership, you would expect that ANY 1 more or less ANY 5 “PrimePantry” items would provide a Prime member with free shipping! “Prime” is the keyword here Amazon!

PrimePantry Guidelines

There’s no fun in Farmville anymore.

This use to be a fun game for most Facebook users who had small farms, but over time the game becomes more of problem the bigger the farm gets. We became so frustrated with it, we had to go on a vacation from it!

  1. The constant Bushel Summary popups while plowing with the combine are just unnecessary and slow game play to a crawl.
  2. The constant “Flash Player has stopped responding” messages have made it time consuming and at times impossible to access the Craft Barn, Gift Box, and many other items on the farm, which slows the game play to a crawl.
  3. The constant popups when harvesting the animal pens makes it almost impossible to get them harvested and slows the game play to a crawl. It would be easier if they were not in the pens and we used the farmhand to harvest, so what’s the point?
  4.  Certain items such as the pen harvester require lots of Farmville cash so that the only way to obtain it is to actually purchase the harvester with real cash!
  5. Once you have expanded all you can for coins, there is no longer a reason to play anymore, because now any expansion will require hundreds of Farmville dollars, which in reality means cash money!

Zynga want’s you to pay for a VIP membership for the game to work great, wait, what? Sure we could pay for this game and these items with cash, but if it works this bad in free mode, why bother?

Well, Zynga I’m going be spending our money on getting far away from Farmville!

 

Careington Dental doesn’t care about you.

If your thinking Careington Dental offers a great price for a dental plan, rethink it! Careington Dental will take your payments and everything will be great until you go to the dentist. Suddenly your card expires and instead of notifying you so you can provided updated details, they will cancel you with no notification whatsoever and then tell your dentist that you cancelled.

When a plan is cancelled the subscriber should be notified, with this company they blame it on your email. They have your address, phone number as well as email do you think they care enough to send you a cancellation letter? No they want to deny that nasty little dental bill that just came in so no notification is given, and by the time you find out they won’t have to pay!

Careington Dental is the worst plan you can have, pay a little more so you can get better service and a company that actually cares about you, and doesn’t just have care in their name!

 

Uncle Chubby’s Delivers Burnt Food for GrubHub!

Back in the day our family loved to order from this restaurant. It had great food and service, so it was always a great time with Uncle Chubby’s at the table.

This year we have ordered several times through GrubHub, even though the customer service seemed unfriendly and bored at Uncle Chubby’s, the food was still always good so it was worth the frustration.

Well after our last order, we will never order from this establishment again. I couldn’t wait for my lasagna to arrive, but it arrived burnt and almost 30 minutes late per GrubHub estimated deliver time. The employees had to notice how burnt this lasagna was (see picture above) when they put the lid on it and yet still sent it out to the customer anyway. When we reached out to the establishment we were told they were to busy to remake and redeliver the order not burnt. Apparently satisfaction is not important!

We were then informed we could call back at another time and there would be a credit waiting, and they would happily redeliver the food. I questioned this and was assured there would be a credit waiting. Well Uncle Chubby does not keep his or his employees word! When we called back no one had any idea of a credit and the owner actually argued about it, and even though there was proof of the order through GrubHub he was still unfriendly and unwilling to replace what was paid for and received burnt.

Even GrubHub couldn’t understand this owners lack of customer service when we complained to them, but they did nothing to rectify the issue. You would think the business owners of these establishments would want to make customers happy, but apparently if your not happy with the food don’t plan on a refund, credit or even a re-delivery because it’s not going to happen!

Take my advice and stay away from Uncle Chubby’s and GrubHub, they are not about providing good service or good food!
