Beckens every road leads to a scam.

Beckens Moving Company is the worst of the moving industry, they give our solders with moving orders an estimate for their move and return all calls, and then once the customer signs the binding contract, the truck shows up days late, the driver now wants $100’s of dollars for packing materials. Then they try to charge $150 just to pack a Flat Screen TV! These people fought for our country and this company is working to rip them and the Armed Forces off.

Now once Beckens Moving Company gets your stuff you might never get it back, and if you do they will want more money out of you. Even after they provided you with rotten service, they will give no discount and will just have the so called third party driver that you didn’t hire, try to force you to pay whatever he requests to retrieve your belongings.

When you try to contact Beckens, they have stopped taking your calls, and they are no longer located at the address on the contract. When they do answer the phone they are rude, disrespectful, nasty and will tell you they will call you back, but that never happens, and once they do finally deliver your belongings it’s months late from the delivery date and the driver is asking for more money, isn’t that funny.

If you need to move, don’t call these fools, by the time you get your things back you will already have replaced most of it and have paid extra for it. If Beckens Moving Company has picked up your belongings and lost them or are holding them hostage for more money then your binding contract allows, call http://www.moverescue.com/ and fight back. This company has an F rating with the BBB and is not customer friendly!

Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move

PosTVac it ain’t all that.

Well up late one night I came across this awful PosTVac MANUAL VACUUM THERAPY PUMP infomercial and I couldn’t believe that something like this was being sold on late night TV for everyone to see, and to top it all off it was just another “As seen on TV” scam.

PosTVac makes claims of Gentle Suction that’s Full Firm and Long Lasting, and it’s sold at http://rejoynmedical.com/. This scam is also involved in medicare fraud, so beware because this cheap vacuum could cost you more than just money.

OWN all Oprah all the time.

The Oprah Winfrey Network, at first it was all Oprah shows all the time, then the ratings dropped, now they are actually providing some good shows like Police Women of Maricopa County, 48 Hours, and others. Only problem is no matter what’s playing on this channel the Oprah commercials run 24/7, now viewers can’t stand watching all Oprah commercials all the time.

The constant Oprah commercials just makes it annoying enough to have to turn the channel. This channel use to provide great entertainment when it was Discovery, now its just another Oprah commercial.

USPS Store gets a low score.

USPS offers a place online to order stamps and shipping materials called the USPS Store. People have complained of ordering items that never arrive, when they contact the USPS Store the customer service representatives act as though they are just trying to get something for nothing.

Their shipping is slow, and the item may ship it out signature required if you complain, so your forced to go to the local Post Office to sign for it anyway, why not just go there in the first place. This store gets a really low score for customer friendliness and service.

Stretch Genie, don’t wish for it.

There really aren’t a lot of reviews out there about Stretch Genie yet. But like the other buy one get one free scams on TV, you’ll be sorry you ever wasted your money on this product.

Some reviews about Stretch Genie are good, but others mention excessive shipping rates, tricky selling practices, and Stretch Genie causing holes and overstretching of their shoes. There are lots of free ways to stretch your shoes, some people mentioned newspaper, zip lock bags of water and other great ideas. If you insist on trying the stretch genie do yourself a favor and buy it at Walmart, or you’ll be wishing you didn’t buy it at all.

Tommie Copper another Montel endorsement.

Tommie Copper claims that their compression wear will ease your everyday aches and pains. Many have claimed no change or that the pain only got worse, few reviews say that the Tommie Copper actually provided some improvement.

Most complaints were about excessive shipping fee’s and long waits for order arrival. Considering Tommie Copper is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, I would stay away from this company and anything Montel Williams endorses.

TWC Modem leasing fees, and the Class Action Suit

It’s bad enough that Time Warner Cable has awful customer service and they now require digital adapters on analog TV‘s for a fee, but starting November 2012 they are going to start charging long time customers a so called leasing fee for their internet modems of $3.95 a month. If your not happy about that, you can buy your own but it must be one that’s approved for service by Time Warner Cable and that could run about $200 or more.

Buy or lease your modem

“According to CNY Time Warner Communications Manager Stephanie Salanger, the company’s main goal is to give customers the best experience possible and charging the fee will allow them to continually service the equipment and enhance their Internet services.”

That’s funny, considering customers have complained of having the worst experience possible with this company, and charging this additional fee more and more consumers will be leaving TWC. They boast about having so many ways to contact customer service, chat, email and phone, but if you try to call it’s always busy, if you open a chat session you get referred to call, and if you email they will reply with a referral to call, or no response at all.

Time Warner Cable figures if you can’t get through their busy phone line to complain, you’ll just go away, and if you do get through, they will say anything to get you off the phone, they will tell you “they are going to escalate your complaint and someone will call you back”. Well that won’t happen, these reps could care less, unless you don’t pay your bill you will never hear back from them. This company has the worst service by far, and now they are starting to gouge us with fee’s. Time to make a change, and start to complain email the CEO below.
