Walmart not accepting coupons anymore!

Surprise surprise Walmart is no longer abiding by their own coupon policy and has now made their own rules when it comes to your printed coupons from coupons.com which have their own security for printing manufacturer coupons, Walmart has decided to no longer accept them at all!

When I contacted my local Walmart manager I was told they no longer accept printed coupons but she wouldn’t give me a straight answer about the new policy at the location, which is not stated in their coupon policy anywhere she sounded ghetto and kept insisting that she wasn’t there so she don’t know why they confiscated them instead of accepting them.

Well I do Walmart has decided not to take legit coupons anymore! My coupons were not copied, had a clear expiration date, barcode and manufacturer information and instead of scanning them for my order I had to pay full price and they confiscated the coupons like they were illegal material!

This company is making it harder and harder for customers to use coupons at their locations, those same coupons would have been accepted by any grocery store so why won’t Walmart‘s SUPER CENTER accept them and why is this not mentioned in their coupon policy?

It’s all got to do with money apparently they are worried about getting their $3.00 back from the manufacturer. Walmart will not be my go to store anymore if they can’t follow their own coupon policy and have now decided to treat coupon users like criminals it’s time to shop elsewhere!

TWC Modem leasing fees, and the Class Action Suit

It’s bad enough that Time Warner Cable has awful customer service and they now require digital adapters on analog TV‘s for a fee, but starting November 2012 they are going to start charging long time customers a so called leasing fee for their internet modems of $3.95 a month. If your not happy about that, you can buy your own but it must be one that’s approved for service by Time Warner Cable and that could run about $200 or more.

Buy or lease your modem

“According to CNY Time Warner Communications Manager Stephanie Salanger, the company’s main goal is to give customers the best experience possible and charging the fee will allow them to continually service the equipment and enhance their Internet services.”

That’s funny, considering customers have complained of having the worst experience possible with this company, and charging this additional fee more and more consumers will be leaving TWC. They boast about having so many ways to contact customer service, chat, email and phone, but if you try to call it’s always busy, if you open a chat session you get referred to call, and if you email they will reply with a referral to call, or no response at all.

Time Warner Cable figures if you can’t get through their busy phone line to complain, you’ll just go away, and if you do get through, they will say anything to get you off the phone, they will tell you “they are going to escalate your complaint and someone will call you back”. Well that won’t happen, these reps could care less, unless you don’t pay your bill you will never hear back from them. This company has the worst service by far, and now they are starting to gouge us with fee’s. Time to make a change, and start to complain email the CEO below.

Don’t be blinded by EZ Eyes!

EZ Eyes Keyboard is no miracle keyboard it’s just another TV scam! Their website makes it seem like you get a keyboard and a mouse for $14.95 plus $7.95 for shipping and handling; plus get a second set for just processing and handling, but before you even get a total your order goes through for $101.60.

There is no way to email the company, and when you try to contact customer service by phone to cancel the order your told that the data has yet to be “down loaded” and to call back tomorrow. They boast that this keyboard is as nice as others that cost $60 or more, when in reality the EZ Eyes Keyboard will cost you over a $100.00.

They have this same keyboard at Walmart for $9.98,without all the hidden costs. Don’t be blinded by EZ’s double offer scam your better off struggling to see.

Total Pillow is a total nightmare!

The TotalPillow leaves some consumers sleepless.

The seams split very easily, then the beads inside come out and stick everywhere, there also have been some posts about gel leaking inside the pillow. The company will replace the pillow but again the same issue and you wind up in a loop of sleepless nights.

The TotalPillow may look like a great ideal and might seem like it when it first arrives, but beware if you need to stay away from the insides and properly dispose of a pillow, then when sleeping on it, you could wake up in your worst nightmare covered in beads from not just one, but two of these toxic pillows!

FlexSeal Steals!

This is another one of those buy one get one free scams!

FlexSeal‘s website is involved in deceptive website practices, customers are confused on what quanity to select due to the free product(s) and FlexSeal then charges your card over $100.00, there’s nothing free here! When you complain about being charged for your free cans, you then have a hard time trying to get your money back.

This is a shame because some reviews of the product itself are very good, but I wouldn’t go out on a boat made of this stuff.

Don’t Wonder about the Wonder Hanger

Here’s another cheaply made “as seen on TV” product. Do yourself a favor and don’t wonder about the Wonder Hangers. These hangers get heavy and bend after constant use, and when you order online you will be forced into either their buy one get one free scam or their deluxe model scam where your credit card can get charged as much as $129.45 with $79.50 for just shipping & handling.

Lets see more room in my closet but my clothes all over the floor and out OVER $100.00 the choice is clear no wonder hangers here!

Paypal is no pal

This is a sore subject, Paypal places “temporary holds” on any refund received, even when the funds from that purchase/refund are being collected from the bank account of the Paypal account holder.

Why the hold? The buyer purchases something and an instant payment is sent to the seller, if the seller, like in my situation, sends an instant refund to PaypalPaypal then places the funds from that refund on hold until Paypal claims they have been received by them. Some people say they have waited as long as 4-7 days other as long as 7-14 days without explanation from Paypal.

If you think Paypal is a great way to shop online your wrong! If you purchase something and there’s an issue with that purchase, and a refund is given to Paypal, they will still charge your account and then place your own funds on hold until they decide to release them.

Here’s a Paypal Alternative:
