Buy Kenmore get less

Whatever you do at Sears, don’t run into a Kenmore Appliance. Kenmore appliances may look like a great buy when their on sale compared to the competitors, but Kenmore’s parts are cheaply made, and without Sears pricey service plan, your screwed when something goes wrong. Now after spending all that money to replace an old appliance that worked great, you are left with a newer appliance with constant issues.

There should be more than a one year limited warranty on an expensive appliance such as Kenmore Refrigerator’s. Sears wants you to purchase their warranty plan, so instead of standing behind the Kenmore product you are purchasing from them, Kenmore makes their warranty so barley there, that if you don’t pay for the Sears warranty plan, Kenmore’s cheap parts are bound to stop working as soon as that limited warranty expires.

Electric Delivery fee and the PSC

This fee is normally twice the amount of the electricity supplied to any National Grid Customer. The PSC “Public Service Commission” has received many complaints from the public about the monopoly that is National Grid, and they have failed to act on behalf of the consumers while this fee has soared to twice the amount of supply.

National Grid customers are given a choice about where they can get their supply of electricity and gas from but they are stuck paying double that amount and more to National Grid for the delivery of their energy. National Grid will tell you it is based on the amount needed to maintain the lines, but let’s be clear were paying an awful lot for nothing here, and in reality all this UK- based company has seen is profit’s since they arrived in Upstate New York and took over Niagara  Mohawk.

Energy has become so expensive here people are starting to look into other resources and alternatives, but for now National Grid is winning this so-called Monopoly game and are the proud owners of our Utility Company.

Tell the PSC no delivery fee rate hike for NG!

Dispute this increase with the PSC here before it’s to late!

National Grid’s Rate Hike

The PSC Keeps Bad Company

Image

“Reasonable Rates” that must be a joke.

The New York State Public Service Commission is more of a Dis-Service Commission. They are not there for the consumer! If you file a complaint you might get a case number, and an automated response with excuses as to why the delivery fee is so high and that they have closed your case, they will never ever side with the consumer against the Utility Company.

Don’t let them fool you the PSC is in the utilities pocket, and therefore they do not want anything to do with you or your complaints! Us as consumers in New York are suffering from deregulation, because the PSC has allowed National Grid to charge these outrageous so called delivery fees on top of the supply fees. How can they justify the utility company charging a flat delivery fee, plus a more expensive rate fee per kWh than the supply rate on top of the flat rate fee which comes out to almost triple the supply fee.

We are paying much more for delivery now than we ever did for supply. Consumers here are burdened with paying outrageous bills for their energy delivery and yet being asked to conserve supply, and when they do conserve energy guess what, National Grid requests another increase in delivery rates, and so we still wind up paying more for energy in New York than anywhere else. We as consumers need to band together and change the way the PSC keeps it’s company with NG!

National Grids Late Payment Greed

National Grids Late Payment Greed

National Grid Collections department is harassing paying customers who’s bills are late with daily automated calls asking for personal information, without any explanation of who the caller is or what they are looking for.

The wonderful collections department at National Grid are rude and ask debt collection type questions, then say they can harass and annoy you with their automated calls until they get their payment! They are worse then the scammers trying to scam you into paying for a debt.

If you restrict their calls, they just send you what they call a continuing shutoff notice for the past due bill, and after you pay the past due bill upon receipt of their shutoff notice and before the shutoff date, a few days later another continuing shutoff notice arrives with the same shutoff date but now for your current bill which is not even due yet, all because you won’t let them call you for payment, and the Public Service Commission says: National Grid is doing nothing wrong. Well ain’t that a big surprise!

Us consumers have paid for the remodel of the entire building located in Syracuse, with all brand new offices, just so they could outsource all their jobs. This company is all about profit! Between National Grid‘s outrageous delivery fees and their questionable billing practices, the Public Disservice Commission should be ashamed that it has allowed this monopoly to continue to harass and over charge their utility customers.
